I have over 15 years’ experience writing and editing marketing and communications copy from brochures to company profiles, speeches and annual reports. 

I have a diverse writing and business background. I earned a master of business administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Marketing from Gannon University in Erie, Pa. My undergraduate degree is in Communications and Literature from Grove City College in Grove City, Pa. 

I spent five years “writing fast and writing well” as a newspaper editor. I spent five more years as an external communications specialist with Erie Insurance Group in Erie, Pa., where I edited two magazines, including the award-winning In Sync magazine that is distributed to over 1.5 million Erie Insurance policyholders three times a year. 

Since moving to San Diego, I have become an independent writer and editor. My clients include Sharp HealthCare, IDEA, Inc., and two prominent San Diego monthly magazines. I continue writing for Erie Insurance and am a frequent contributor to In Sync magazine.

I’m also the co-author and co-publisher, along with Tara Maras, of two books.
